Servicios Técnicos Electromecánicos S.A. Avila Stem fue fundada en Julio de 1975, por el Sr. Edgar Avila y su señora esposa Ana María Chacon Rodriguez.

Nace en San José, Costa Rica, al principio como una empresa de reconstrucción de Calderas de Vapor e instalaciones electromecánicas.

Luego con la mayor parte de sus hijos e hijas han consolidado un ejemplo del concepto Empresarial Familiar y promete continuar el proceso de evolución que ha mantenido desde su fundación.
